Här får man överblick.

Sculpture in a schoolyard and a work on the wall at the entrance Lillestadsskolan in Växjö. Assignment for the municipality of Växjö.

At the main entrance of the school radiates a great magical sun that welcomes children and staff. The sun reflects with its reflection everything that is going on; city, nature, weather and sky, different depending on where you stand. Something happens every day when you come to school, a reminder that every day looks different. It sees and everything is filtered through it, the reflection, the short, snapped up and become a memory. The building is low and has a horizontal direction, elongated in a plane. By pointing out a point with the powerful color and the reflection, the eye is drawn to this, that something is happening here.

The sun has a diameter of 1.50 m and is made of liquid color between laminated mirror glass and optical white glass

There is a contradiction: A mountain is solid, heavy, material, hard, cold, powerful… ..This mountain is transparent and defines a void with its contours. In the two-dimensional world, the topography of the landscape is described with graphic lines. If you look at the sculpture from above, the mountain looks like a mountain on a topographic map. So ... it's mountains. The sculpture is both intangible and concrete; something that can be climbed and a void where the shadow on the ground shows a two-dimensional image, a topography of a mountain. On the sculpture you climb up the mountain on the lines which in the representation are precisely the heights, higher and higher up, until you get to the top and look out. Here you get an overview. The physical movement upwards can affect and you may come up with things that you do not do down on the ground.

The sculpture is 5 x 3.5 x 2.5 m and is shaped and assembled by stainless steel bars in two dimensions.
